Mark Chipps of Goosebump Productions was contacted by Full Circle Magazine to produce a viral video to promote the Empowerment through Education (E-T-E) initiative. Mark was so encouraged by the amazing people he met after visiting the two township schools that he agreed to produce the video.

In the News: E-T-E Launched May 2009

The Empowerment Through Education (E-T-E) Fund was launched on 22 May 2009 at the Fish Hoek Galley Restaurant on Fish Hoek beach. The E-T-E Fund was created to fund the education of 5 pupils from Green Curtains of Ocean View and Masakhane of Masiphumulele, both located in the Fish Hoek/Noordhoek Valley in the Cape Town South Peninsula.

VDP Progress Report: First Quarter 2010

Things are going very well at both Masakhane Educare and Green Curtains. Teachers have planned exciting curricula, children are learning in a safe and loving environment and parents are satisfied and have built a good relationship with the staff at both centres.

Grade R Classes

The Masakhane Educare has 2 registered Grade R classes, funded by the Western Cape Department of Education. We have 40 Grade R children who will go to school next year.
